Supporting Future Leaders, One Student At A Time

Book Drive:

We would like to expose Guinean children from primary school through university to great authors and researchers from around the world known and unknown and we would like your help! Please donate and send us an email regarding great books that you have learned about that should be on every child’s reading list with respect to their grade level. Since the official language in Guinea is French, we will appreciate books that are in French. However, we are thankful for all donations and suggestions. If you have any book or article about Guinea, we welcome it even if it is in English.

Bicycle Donation Initiative:

A number of Guinean students live in far distances from schools, your financial support will help a Guinean student, who has to walk long distances to and from school have access to a means of transportation through our bicycle donation initiatives. By providing students with a mean of transportation to get to and from school, your donation will help in supporting our mission of providing material assistance to students as they pursue their educational goals. In addition to the purchase of each bicycle, the Alliance will also purchase and provide students with head gear in order to promote their physical safety while operating their bicycles.

School material

In an effort to support Guinean students and their educational needs the Alliance welcomes donations of general school supplies. Though, we would rather receive funds and buy these school supplies in Guinea as we are building our logistics to be able to handle shipping and other related cost to gathering these items and shipping them to our targeted/identified communities. We are grateful for all donations. We intend to strategically distribute supplies to students of multiple schools from primary to high school particularly in rural areas throughout Guinea.

Computers and Electronics

It is hard to imagine a student in the 21st century without a computer or computer access, but this is the case for many Guinean students currently attending schools in Guinea. In an effort to accomplish our goal of helping students have access to these vital learning tools, we welcome your monetary support and or actual new and refurbished computers and other electronics learning tools such as I-pads and E-reader tablets, calculators (scientific and business) that will be donated to Guinean students.

The Alliance is currently launching several drives and initiatives, which require volunteer support here in the US as well as in Guinea. If you would like to serve as a volunteer or know someone who does on one or more of the programs mentioned below, please visit our “contact us” page and include your contact information, and the program that you are interested in volunteering on: Scholarship Fund, Bike Drive, Library Project, School supply Drive...

As you consider volunteering, please keep these three quotes in mind

-"Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, "What's in it for me?" ~Brian Tracy

"Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in." ~Unknown Author

We welcome individuals to join our organization as public advocates for education and development within Guinea and around the world to bring attention and interest to our mission and the overall need for support of Guinean education and students as they strive to seek academic excellence and to become better world citizens.
